There are indications that a housewife, identified as Mrs Mary Ogar, is threatening to kill her husband in Yala area of Ogoja in Cross River State.
It was gathered that the husband of the woman, Mr Johnson Onapi, a road safety commander attached to Yala FRSC. office allegedly caught the wife. in the act with her lover, identified as one Mr Augustine Okorie.
Reliable police source at Yala police station who spoke off record said that the matter was reported at the station by the woman. She was said to have subsequently dragged the husband to the Chief Magistrate Court in Yala. Even as the case is still in court, unconfirmed report from the area have it that the woman may have hired killers to trail and gun down the husband, for allegedly trying to intervene in her love life.
