One of the frontline private security practitioners in Nigeria recently returned $78million mistakenly paid into the official bank account of his company by a long standing client.
Mr Richard Amuwa, managing director, Mega Guards Security Limited in a recent post on his Facebook handle disclosed that for 13 good years, he has been having a cordial business relationship with his unnamed client. Guards were posted to the home and offices of the client on a morning and night beat, 24/7, he said.
However, the client called him recently to said that he should stop the contractual agreement they entered into on man_guards, he further disclosed. Amuwa agreed and requested the unnamed client to pay the outstanding salary arrears he was owning the company which he agreed. But, I noticed that instead of the client to pay the naira equivalent of his debt to the official bank of my company, he mistakenly. paid the dollars into the dollar account and I was compelled to returned the money back to bank account of my client.
